Survivors
People who have lived through crime, incarceration, abuse, or institutional harm. Your lived experience can bring essential truth and humanity to our long-form conversations and investigative films.

Legal professionals who provide the institutional perspective necessary for a credible and independent documentary production.
Firsthand Knowledge
Individuals with direct experience or research expertise. Your specialized knowledge helps us uncover the human consequences left behind.
What to Expect
After you submit an inquiry, our team may contact you for a confidential preliminary conversation. We will explain the project, discuss your possible involvement, and give you an opportunity to ask questions before any recorded interview or filming takes place.
Editorial Independence
We operate with complete editorial independence. Our reporting and final editorial decisions remain with Silent Recording Media so that each project can be presented accurately, responsibly, and with respect for the people most affected.
Consent & Boundaries
Participation is voluntary. Before recording, we will discuss informed consent, confidentiality limitations, and any personal or legal concerns. You may decline to answer a question or request a pause at any time. Withdrawal after recording will be governed by the written release agreement and the production’s editorial obligations.
Submissions do not guarantee inclusion in our projects. We maintain the right to decline participation at any stage of the production process.
Participation Inquiry
We invite formerly incarcerated people, currently incarcerated people where permitted, attorneys, advocates, psychologists, forensic psychologists, mental-health professionals, drug and substance-use counselors, current and former law-enforcement professionals, survivors, family members, researchers, and people with relevant firsthand knowledge to participate in our investigative long-form documentaries.
